Supporting Causes Through Social Media
Supporting causes on Facebook is a great way to help raise awareness, supporters, and money for efforts you believe in. The Causes application on Facebook allows you to feature social causes on your profile for others to see (and possibly join). In addition to featuring a set of causes on your profile, you can also invite others to support the causes you believe in. As more and more people join your causes, you get recognition for your recruiting efforts. The Campaign for Cancer Prevention has raised over 5 million supporters and nearly $110,000 in funds through the Causes application.
