Social Media as an Encyclopedia

Have you ever considered using your social media accounts as a massively distributed encyclopedia? Doing so can often come in very handy.  Think how many people you are connected to in all of your social media accounts.  Why not leverage their vast knowledge.  Overall, people are more than willing to share their knowledge when prompted.

A recent query of connections on Facebook yielded positive results.  A tricky accounting question resulted in over 20 responses, stimulating conversation and ultimately a conclusion.  The result is a more streamlined process for our business, keeping our books clean and our accountant friends happy.
