Nokia to Natively Integrate Devices with Facebook
Mobile device giant Nokia has announced that it has partnered with Facebook to develop native integration of the Facebook platform into it’s new N97 Mini smartphone, to be released later this year. The new Nokia lifecasting app will allow native viewing and updating of Facebook content.
Features on the new platform include multimedia posts and posting to the Facebook platform with location information. The development is mutually beneficial between the companies. Facebook sees the mobile platform as increasingly important to continue market dominance. Nokia is feeling increasing pressure from other mobile web platforms such as the iPhone and Blackberry.
